Ulama’s Emigration To The Cities Not To Be Neglected

Meeting with representatives of the West Azerbaijan scholars and students, Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani pointed to the issue of piety and said that piety is one of the issues that Quran emphasizes on and orders the believers to have it.
He stated that being a seminary student needs characteristics including having piety. He added that in a narration Amir al-Mu’minin (as) said “Piety has bases among which are the following: fear of God, practice of Quran, contentment, belief in the Day of Judgment, and preparedness for death”.
He went on to state that one of the missions of the representatives of seminary students is to introduce an epistemic and personality pattern and to draw attention to the issue of piety. He said that among other missions of the representatives are drawing attention to the propagation and immigration to cities and villages to educate the scholars and seminary students about the religion.
He said that we should not neglect the critical issue of educating about religion and propagating epistemological basics and religious ongoing issues. He said that neglecting immigration to cities by seminary students has created many problems.
He also noted that another point in the discussion of propagation is to prepare the platform for it by the cultural authorities and the support of the missionaries.
