The following is the full text of the message issued on December 2, 2017 by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on the demise of the poet of the Quran and Itrat, Habibollah Chaychian.
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I convey my condolences in the demise of the poet of the Quran and Itrat, Mr. Habibollah Chaychian (Hesan) to the literary community of the country and to the religious poets and in particular to his family and his dear ones, and I beseech Allah to associate him with his beloveds. And the delightful poetry of this beloved poet is one of the valuable treasures of the religious poetry of our time and will remain in memories and languages God willing. May God give him a great status in the hereafter.
