The manager of Xorasan Seminary called clergy’s turban the symbol of science, piety, bravery, awareness, morality, and being pioneer and declared some points on its position and reverence.

As reported by the public relations of Xorasan Seminary, in the ceremony of wearing the turban by 60 students of Xorasan Seminary, Ayatollah Ameli called Clergy’s turban the symbol of science, piety, bravery, awareness, morality, and being pioneer and said: we must pay attention to the movement and the position of the clergy’s clothes.
The member of the Supreme Council of Xorasan’s Seminary mentioned the narration which goes “one who learns for God and acts for God and teaches for God has a great position in the kingdom of the heavens” and said that the core point in here is moving towards God.
He said that students of seminaries start their path with the intention of learning and educating for God’s sake and continued: on one hand, it is important to hold the burden in this movement and on the other hand, the students do not study in order to get a degree but for the sake of God.
The manager of Xorasan Seminary added: when one works for God, everything else loses its importance in his eyes.
Ayatollah Ameli emphasized on using the utility of science and trying to learn the lessons of seminaries and said: the students of seminaries do not have small goals, and looks for refinement and purification besides education. In fact, characteristics such as piety, justice, bravery, jihad and … can be accompanied by knowledge to make a person acceptable. He mentioned that the verse 114th of Taha surah which goes “Lord, increase me in knowledge” means asking God for scientific and spiritual movement with considering the nature of God. He said: if God be the center of our movements, we will change, and seminaries must be so.
The manager of Xorasan Seminary explained: the same verse emphasizes getting knowledge beside acting for God.
Ayatollah Ameli put emphasis on the fact that teachers and the educational system must be comprehensive, and that being unidimensional cannot result in effectiveness. He pointed to “put me among the righteous” in the 83rd verse of Shoara and said: clergies who reach their goal as being righteous can be influential.
He claimed the morals in family and society, and the presence of the good-tempered students in all areas ımportant and addressed their families and said: based on the narration “If a man dies, his actions will stop except in three cases: an ongoing charity, or useful information, or a good son who prays for him” the rewards of three kinds of actions will be continued even after death, and clergies have them all.
