When asked about the important issues which must be discussed by the preachers in Moharram, the professor of Xarej of Feqh and Osul said: of course, the best expression is the explanation of holy goals of Imam Hosein in Ashura movement.
As reported by the public relations of Xorasan Seminary, getting close to Ashura, Ayatollah Mostafa Ashrafi Shahrudi, one of the professors of Xarej of Feqh and Osul in Xorasan Seminary notified different points regarding the necessity of saving the dignity of the sessions of mourning for Imam Hosein (as) and emphasized on mourners, eulogists and lecturers paying attention to the messages of Imam Hosein’s movement.
The professor of the great level in Xorasan Seminary said: unfortunately, during the mourning sessions, due to paying too much attention to the common emotions, we get away from the goals of holding these sessions, and that’s why sometimes superstitions can be found in the demonstrations formed as mourning which decreases the attention towards the greatness of the object of Imam Hosein’s movement.
He added: Enemies try to insert superstitions and divergence into our mourning sessions, and one of the theories I’ve seen in Marxism goes: “empty the religion from contents and only let the superstitious surfaces remain in it”.
Ayatollah Ashrafi Shahrudi emphasized on the necessity of adapting the mourning sessions with the ideas of Marjas and experts and said: I have told the media that if mourners are really looking for respecting the Islamic rites, they should refer to the Marjas opinions and follow them in order to increase the quality of theses religious ceremonies and avoid these sessions being taken advantage of in opposite of Imam Hosein’s great goal.

As explained by Imam Hosein (as), he moved to refine the nation of his grandfather, renovate the enjoining good and preventing vice and setting the prophet’s and Imam Ali’s characters’ sketch, and experts must elaborate these goals.
At the end, he emphasized: in summary, the goals of Imam Hosein’s movement contains “promoting the right word” and “Implementing religious orders and teachings” an important example of which is fighting injustice and oppressors.
