At a meeting with the officials of Qom Prison Administration, Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani claimed that the purpose of the Prophets’ mission was to prevent people from going astray and help them become blissful.
He said that the basic principle of humanity is ignorance, but in order to eliminate ignorance human beings have been given the means of guidance.
He added that the conductor and guide is the Almighty God and these guides have scriptures. If God intends to guide mankind, this is because of the law of kindness, and after the prophets, he has sent other guides so that the earth would not be empty of guides and there would be guides.
Expressing that guides have a mission to all individuals and even prisoners and that the missionaries should not be indifferent to the prisoners’ circumstances, Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani added that these guides will certainly face opponents, but opposition should not discourage them from delivering their message. Bypassing the time, the message of religion and righteous speech will affect the opponents of religion. He said that the point that prison authorities must consider is to value the prisoners and not put them all in the same place.
Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani said that it is necessary for people who are imprisoned for any reason to be separated based on their crime so that their character and reputation are preserved.
