Some are hurting Islam and traditional medicine by promoting superstition

At a meeting with the Minister of Health and Medical Education, Ayatollah Makarem emphasized the government’s special attention to health promotion as in the past and declared the need for continued government support for community health and health.
Referring to the naming of the year as “supporting Iranian goods”, he said that the protection of the medical items made in Iran creates jobs and increases hope in the country. The drug manufacturers are urged to increase the quality of their products to enjoy popular support.
He called the traditional medicine that is within the framework of law and regulations influencing and valuable, and said that in the traditions and sayings of Ahl al-Bayt (as) there is no such thing as Islamic medicine and some with a handful of superstition are damaging both Islam and traditional medicine.
It is worth noting that at the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Health expressed his hope that the 12th government would add 900 beds to the hospital beds of the province.
He criticized the immaturity of Islamic medicine in the country and added that some people, without expertise and with the goal of earning money, enter the field that creates problems for both traditional medicine and clergy.
The Minister of Health emphasized the support of low-income groups in the Health Development Plan and said that no corpses are kept in hospitals because of the financial disability of the deceased family.
