April 1, 1979 was the day of the conscious and epic presence of the people to determine the content of the government that had its roots in the Islamic Revolution. With the timely and foreseeable thought of the great leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini (ra), this historic day turned to be the day of proving divine governorship, broad-mindedness, and the representation of the Iranian people’s participation and sympathy.
On that remarkable day, more than 98 percent of Iranians had an exemplary presence in the historic referendum and voted “yes” to the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Today, 39 years after that glorious and decisive day, the insightful and knowledgeable nation of Islamic Iran have shown that the ideals of the revolution are still firmly standing.
This great day was a victorious voice to the heavenly voice “and hold fast to the Bond of Allah, together, and do not scatter” that was spoken by a God-dominated leader who was reliant on the strong people who had were awakened. Undoubtedly, the day of the Islamic Republic of Iran was the sweetest fruit of the people’s jihad and the completion of the gift of independence and freedom. Millions of Iranians in front of the eyes of the oppressed and the startled eyes of enemies made it. To this day and with their exemplary insight, the nation of Islamic Iran have repeatedly displayed religious democracy in different scenes.
And today, on the eve of the thirty-ninth anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Republic, the Iranian nation is being guided by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Grand Ayatollah Khamenei. Thanks to the valuable and incomparable experiences of the history of the Islamic Revolution, especially the victorious experience of the holy defense era, and their divine will, they have had a magnificent history with honor, pride and authority and have other magnificent epics ahead. Undoubtedly, once again, they will show the will of the Iranian people in conquering the peaks of progress.
Xorasan Seminary commemorates the April 1st, the symmetry of these days with the honorable birthday of Imam Ali (as), and the memory of Imam Khomeini and the proud martyrs of the Islamic Revolution. Xorasan Seminary believes that the continuation of the evolutionary movement of the revolution over the past 39 years, since the victory of the revolution, has been owe to the wise guidance of Imam Khomeini (ra) and his right successor, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei. At this critical historic stage, Xorasan Seminary wants Iranian people to implement the guidelines of Ayatollah Khamenei in the speech he gave at the beginning of the New Year, especially the motto of the year “supporting Iranian goods”. They must enrich the country’s internal strength and increased popularity of the regime and so that, make the enemies of the regime and the revolution watch the greatness of their progress and honorable deeds.
