In a message to the first gathering of “Analyzing the originality of Shiite Hadith Heritage” Ayatollah Saafi Golpaygani said that knowledgeable ones in hadith field are expected to have an over-source and factual view, pay attention to the evidences of methods of hadith narrators and faqihs in narrating and saving this great heritage, and enter this field scientifically in order for the scientific centers to benefit from it.
The full message of Ayatollah Saafi Golpaygani, which was read in the first gathering of “Analyzing the originality of Shiite Hadith Heritage” in the hall of Ahl al-Bayt (as) Feqh Center Gatherings on Sunday evening, is as follows.

The glorious movement that begins with the gathering of “Analyzing the originality of Shiite Hadith Heritage” is a sign of a shining future for defending Shiite hadith and its bases.
No words can express the importance of hadith and actions taken to strengthen the beliefs.
Quran, traditions and hadith are all the facts and all the facts are in Quran and hadith. Ahl al-Bayts’ (as) interpretation, sciences and hadiths, Imam Ali’s works, Nahj al-Balagha insights, Al-Sahif al-Sajjadiyya, Sahif Assalisa, Arrabi’a and Alxamisa, the four sacred books, prayers thesauruses, Bihar al-Anwar, Makarem ul-Akhlagh, and tens and hundreds of principles and books are all precious thesauruses and savings that people will always deeply need through their path to perfection.
The spread of these sciences are great and significant signs of the existence of Allah. Unfortunately, we live in a time when some so-called researchers and investigators are ignorant to this sea of knowledge insights and do not value it as they should. We may be attracted to sects which lead to nowhere but darkness and hurt the religion and especially the important principle of Imamate and the status of Ahl al-Bayt (as) through non-scientific weakening the bases of Islam and contents of hadiths.
The experts who have extensive knowledge of hadith and Rijal, know the details of analyzing texts and documents, and have a basic view of hadith so that they use it in their reasoning and inferring and consider saving the hadith heritage their first priority when starting and researching are expected to have an over-source and factual view, pay attention to the evidences of methods of hadith narrators and faqihs in narrating and saving this great heritage, and enter this field scientifically in order for the scientific centers to benefit from it.
Such a movement with such quality is much needed and so much time is lost in this respect.
In order to accompany you in this way and as my knowledge lets, I draw your attention to the following point.
Analyzing books related to hadith, Rijal, and the like shows that many books written in third, fourth, or even second century by great ones such as Sheikh Sheikh Saduq, Khajeh Nassiroddin Tousi, No’mani, et al are written while they have had hadith books with them. However, the narrators used to narrate only what their teachers narrated and with their permission in Dirayah and not otherwise. Therefore, even if there are weak points in some documents especially The Four Books or other books, these weak points will not hurt the validity of the narration and inferring based on it, and this shows the faithfulness of the great ones and prior narrators.
As an example, the signs of such thing can be found in the books “The List” by Khajeh Nassiroddin Tousi and “The Method” by ibn Idris. There is also a clear example of it in the book “Montaxab al Asar” by Ayyash Johari. I have elaborated this small but very important point mentioned at the beginning of the book.
At the end, I want to thank all the crew, scholars, and scientists attending this gathering, consider the coincidence of it with the birthday of Imam of the time (May God hasten his reappearance) a good omen, and hope for their success in serving more than before with the help of Imam of the time (May God hasten his reappearance).
